Liss Band is a friendly brass band based in the village of Liss in Hampshire. Founded in 1974 it is proud to be at the heart of the local community.
At present the band has 35 members covering a wide range of ages; however the band is always on the lookout for new players. It performs a regular series of concerts throughout the year ranging from summer afternoon fetes to evening Concerts.
As it is not a contesting band it is not limited on numbers, and is always on the look out for new members whether it be Cornet, Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Trombone, Bass or even Percussion.
As well as the main band it also has a very well supported training section with the aim of feeding into the main band, but they are also given the opportunity to perform at some of the concerts in their own right.
